WeddingRing.lk started on a workbench in Wellawatte in 2014, with one goldsmith, one apprentice, and a belief that an engagement ring should be made by people who actually know the couple's story — not pulled off a shelf.

Rayeaz grew up in his father's small jewelry workshop off Galle Road, sweeping gold dust off the floor before school. While everyone expected him to study engineering and move on, at nineteen he asked his father to teach him to set stones properly — and never really stopped.
In 2014, he opened WeddingRing.lk with a single rented bench and a promise: every ring would be made for the actual hand that would wear it, not cast from a generic mould and resized. Twelve years, 6,200 pieces, and a full workshop later — that rule has never changed.
Today, Rayeaz is widely recognised as one of Sri Lanka's most trusted bridal jewelers. Couples come from across the island — and increasingly from abroad — specifically to work with him. He still personally reviews every design sketch before it reaches the bench.

Every piece that leaves our Colombo workshop passes through the same four hands- on stages — no outsourced casting, no rushed finishing.
We sit down with you — in the showroom or over WhatsApp — to sketch a design around your budget, story, and the hand it's made for.
Each setting is cast in-house from certified 18K gold or platinum using the lost-wax method, then hand-filed — never machine-stamped.
Diamonds and gemstones are graded and set under magnification by our two senior setters, each with over a decade at the bench.
A final hand-polish and quality check against the original sketch — only then does it leave our workshop for your hands.
